Editor/ Content Writer

 

Fabulous opportunity for a talented Editor to join a young, innovative and fast-growing Client across its highly sought-after global products and services.

 

The ideal Editor will drive the content marketing for the whole business providing regular articles, interview, white papers, etc.

 

Essentially you will provide and shape the brand identity through engaging, thought-provoking content.

 

The Role

  • Produce regular articles, blog posts, interviews and whitepapers
  • Upload content company website, blog and social channels
  • Work closely with event producers to ensure content is in-line with event themes and current trends within the industry
  • Regularly interview thought-leaders and event speakers for content production
  • Travel to events to take notes and interview thought leaders
  • Write event write-ups and key take-aways
  • Liaise with event sponsors and partners to produce co-branded content
  • Brief graphic designers for larger content designs e.g. white papers
  • Assist in ad/hoc copywriting where required e.g. website, brochures and social posts
  • Playing a key part in the promotion, PR and admin of reader awards and exhibitions.

Ideal background

  • Experience writing varying forms of content - ideally within Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences
  • Happy to work to deadlines
  • Availability for international travel 
  • Experience updating websites and using social media platforms
  • Take the initiative and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Have experience working in an editorial/journalism environment.
  • Are super creative with the ability to identify the best angle of a story or feature.
  • Work well under pressure, juggling deadlines and being busy while staying super organised.
  • Are meticulous with a great eye for detail, particularly when it comes to grammar and typos.
  • Understand your audience and subject, writing engaging content that will grab the readers’ attention as well as entertain and inform them.
  • Have experience working in an editorial/journalism environment.
  • Super creative with the ability to identify the best angle of a story or feature.
  • Work well under pressure, juggling deadlines and being busy while staying super organised
  • Minimum of 1.5 years commercial experience within b2b content preferably within Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sectors.
