Junior FX Broker
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior FX Broker to join a small but flourishing FX Business. Essentially, you will work alongside an experienced Foreign Exchange (FX) sales manager, who will train and coach you throughout. Show you how to offer the best rates, build a strong relationship with clients, and keep a keen interest in the market.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A TRADING ROLE; YOU WILL BE COLD CALLING AND REQUIRE SOME SALES-RELATED EXPERIENCE
Starting salary: £18,000 - £25,000 basic (depending on experience) plus uncapped bonus scheme (40-60k) first-year earnings
All applicants must be within commutable distance of London and fully entitled to live and work in the UK.
Job Description:
- Achieving competitive KPIs and targets monthly
- Keeping up to date with constant currency movements within the market daily
- Gaining new business by engaging with new clients
- As a new FX broker opener, they are looking for someone who has a professional, methodological approach to work with a keen eye for detail.
- Making successful outbound calls to various companies
- Being able to cold call successfully, need to show a good level of communication skills and confidence
- Promoting what the business offers and identifying our Unique Selling Point (USP), informing clients of why we offer the best rate
- Lead sourcing - generate spreadsheets and lists in your own time to ensure you are prepared for the working day, making relevant notes and building a personal relationship with that specific client
- You must have a keen interest in what impacts the financial markets and the fluctuations in the exchange rates; you will have an excellent telephone manner, be able to analyse data and be proficient with Excel packages
About You:
- To work under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Managing client relationships and needs, building personal relationships with clients

- Being able to join a quickly expanding business and keep up with constant movement
- Excellent telephone manner for speaking with clients over the phone etc. Ability to make personal conversations and be polite
- Ability to work well within a tight-knit team
- Commitment to providing the best customer service to new clients and existing ones
- Must be highly motivated and driven to want to meet targets and KPIs
Ideal Background
- A minimum of 6 months of b2b sales experience
- Brokers / Telesales/ Professional Services / SaaS Sales
