Sponsorship Sales Manager to FX Sales Manager

My Client is a successful FX Brokerage who seek a Sales Manager or Sales Director to manage a team of brokers in its City of London Offices.

The ideal applicant will be responsible for the sales development and leadership of the Sales Division while ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations with other dept. heads.

Worth adding, the Client is ideally looking for a Sales Manager or Sales Director who is possibly experienced in Finance related b2b events or similar associated sectors.

 

              It is not necessary to have an FX Sales background for this role  

 

Key Parts of the Role:

 

Demonstrate excellence in new customer acquisition and pipeline management

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and performance KPI's

Develop a deep understanding of your prospect's business and validate customer needs and decision criteria on an ongoing basis

Understand and adhere to high regulatory standards

Act as a role model and coaching and assisting more junior members of the team to identify, prioritise and close opportunities

 

Provide prospects and clients with valuable insights into the broader economic, business and FX landscape e.g. platform(s) for receiving and sending payments, hedging tools for managing currency volatility and recurring market commentary

Develop an understanding of Vanilla products and capabilities:

Expand the depth and integration of customer relationships with new business opportunities by conducting professional and effective relationship management

Identify and /research market opportunities for new customer acquisition

Call and email prospective clients promoting the company's products and services

Represent the business at meetings with existing and potential clients at either their premises or our Corporate offices working in conjunction with other members of staff to present a professional image, in a face-face environment

Work alongside the Dealing Desk to ensure a smooth handover process of clients, as well as maintaining contact through life of client to ensure maximum value being added

Contribute to training and mentoring junior members of staff

Proactively learn about new products and relevant sales techniques

Develop key FX sales skills through company training program

Work within a fast paced and challenging team environment

Follow a structured career path including managerial prospects for outstanding candidates

Strong collaboration skills and ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Solid understanding of the flow of funds in international payments models

Excellent closing ability

Ability to control multi-stakeholder sales opportunities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3 years' experience within the international payment sector

History of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach

Desire to create a best in class business

Analytical skills and full understanding of financial concepts

Experience Required

At least 5 years of B2B Sponsorship Sales experience (preferably with a solid track record of work rate and achieving/exceeding targets) within Summits or Forums or one -one Events
