Sponsorship Sales Manager

Basic Salary: (£30,000 - £35,000) depending on experience, uncapped commission (50K-100K) 

Excellent Commission Structure

*We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join us.

My highly prestigious Client has been established in the conferences industry for 10 years with highly sought after Summits across the EU and US.

They are particular niche experts who serve the world’s leading executives with an extensive portfolio of international benchmarking and networking summits across Europe and the USA, which highlight a wide range of key issues and trends faced within management today such as Industry 4.0, IIoT Artificial Intelligence and data analytics.

The Role

As Sponsorship Sales  Manager, you will play a dynamic role in securing new commercial partners and sponsorship revenue. Responsible for the delivery aspect of booked clients and then to further cross-sell and grow the clients across both new and established international industry-leading summits.

You will be selling on various conferences portfolio over the course of the year and building new business development essential for our client base for each conference and drive further commercial success across a portfolio of international conferences.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Understand specific client challenges in each of the markets we serve and how our products align to meet those challenges.
  • Build a thorough understanding of our products, the industry and the competitors.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and formulate innovative, creative and profitable solutions for their business.
  • Pitching C-level Executives and Directors within the manufacturing sector.
  • Maintain close liaison with the marketing, production and operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful customer-focused events.
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to conduct monthly revenue forecasts, sales reports and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Identify potential customers from competitive media, events and other business sources.
  • Overall responsibility of the revenue targets across our events portfolio
  • 100% new business

  • Excellent telephone manner and confidence.
  • A proven track record in Sponsorship Sales 
  • A solid sales process and/or previous sales training.
  • Business acumen and strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels.
  • A desire to develop themselves and others as a sales professional.
  • Looking to dramatically increase their earning potential
