In light of the recent pandemic that has been with us for many months and coupled with the fact that most Event organisations will be experiencing a shortfall of products for a while and subsequent fall in potential earnings, you might be contemplating a move away from Events.

My Client is a heavily invested and trusted FX (Foreign Exchange) brokerage based in the Docklands area who have an opportunity for proven Sponsorship Sales Executives to go through an intensive training program to be Account Managers and specialise within the world of FX.

As Account Managers you will be targeting both UK and European corporate businesses with a minimum £2M FX annual exposure.

The Role

  • Generating sales through consultative selling while managing and communicating your own pipeline of sales.
  • Understand and adhering to high regulatory standards while contributing to the ongoing development of the Corporate sales team with dynamism, professionalism, and ambition.
  • Researching and identifying market opportunities for new customer acquisition
  • Call and email prospective clients promoting the Company’s products and services while managing client relationships through sales process.
  • Organising and attending sales meetings with existing/potential Clients at either their premises or at HQ.
  • Work in conjunction with other members of the team in presenting a professional image, in a face to face environment
  • Work alongside the dealing desk to ensure a smooth handover process of clients, as well as maintaining contact through life of client to ensure maximum value being added.
  • Drive to achieve monthly targets by identifying, assessing, and selling prospects on the value the business can bring to their respective business
  • Identify strategic prospective clients by utilising data management systems
  • Maintain accurate CRM records relating to your pipeline
  • Demonstrate a high standard of business and personal ethics
  • Acquire and maintain suitable market knowledge while keeping abreast of market trends and sentiment to keep both clients and prospects well informed
  • Take an active interest in learning new products and approaches to selling them
  • Contribute to team discussions on market events, prospect opportunities
  • Develop key FX Sales skills through company training program
  • Work within a fast paced and challenging team environment
  • Follow a structured career path including managerial prospects for outstanding candidates.


  • University Degree
  • A minimum of 6-24 months previous sales background in Sponsorship Sales
  • Knowledge of Financial markets
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions focussed approach.

Salaries will vary according to experience - £28-32K plus high OTE 40-60K 1st year, 2nd year 60-100k
